PILE TESTING
Dynamic load test
Crosshole sonic logging (CSL) test
Static load test
Dynamic load test
Pile testing is performed according to standards:
LVS EN 1997-1; ISO/DIS 22477-1; ГOСТ 5686-2012
The piles can be tested by the following methods:
-
Testing of bored piles using reinforced concrete blocks - this test method can be used if the load is intended up to 2100kN.
-
Piles can be tested by building additional anchor piles or temporary screw piles, this method is used if the load on the pile is more than 2100kN
-
Ultrasonic pile integrity test (PIT) allows the detection of defects (cracks, extensions, constrictions, hollows due to soil exposure, voids) as well as pile lengths. No European standard is available for this test, the pile integrity test report is developed in accordance with EN1536
PILE STATIC TESTING
Static testing - bearing capacity check of the pile.
The static pile testing may be conducted:
A
USING RAINFORCED
CONCREATE BLOCKS
B
USING ADDITIONALLY ARRANGED
ANCHOR PILES
PILE INTEGRITY TESTING (WITH ULTRASOUND)
The Pile Integrity Test - PIT - this method enables to detect the defects of single piles (ruptures, broadenings, narrowing, hollows resulting from the effect of soil, holes) and to determine the pile length.

PILE DYNAMIC TESTING
ADAPTER FOR PILES
The dynamic test (DLT) allows to determine the piles foundation and side surfaces bearing capacity, to evaluate the piles integrity as well as their subsidence. The measurements are analyzed in real time using special software. One of the test results is a simulation of the static test in a form a calculated load-test curve.
The test is performed with manufactured free-fall hammer, which we have owned since 2021
PILE CROSSHOLE SONIC LOGGING (CSL) TESTING
Here is a very accurate method for determining structural integrity and concrete uniformity in diaphragm walls in bored piles:
• Widely used for more than 30 years.
• Practical and economical for deep foundation integrity testing.
CROSSHOLE SONIC LOGGING (CSL)
PILE STANDARD SIZE 1000 - 1400 mm
Method
Crosshole sonic logging (CSL) is a method to determine the structural integrity of drilled shafts and other concrete piles. The CSL method is considered to be more accurate than sonic echo testing in the determination of structural soundness of concrete within the drilled shaft inside of the rebar cage. CSL) is one of the most accurate pile integrity tests to determine the integrity of deep foundation elements. CSL sends ultrasonic pulses through the concrete from one probe to another probe present in a pile and detects the structural integrity based on the received waves.
Advantages
-
Quick and safe – CSL tests performed in less than 5 minutes
-
Can perform tests for above and below waterline structures
-
Identify and locate the presence of multiple defects
-
CT can deliver high-resolution images with unsurpassed accuracy and interpretation simplicity
-
Perform QA regarding the presence of poor quality concrete, voids, honeycombing and soil intrusion
-
Identify the size, shape, severity, nature and location of anomalies
